His Excellency Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al-Alawi, Secretary General of the Tender Board, affirmed the continuous support that Bahraini women receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, may God protect him, as well as the ongoing follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him. This support is further enhanced by the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women, headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her.
This came during His Excellency’s honoring of the female employees of the Tender Board in recognition of their distinguished efforts in various positions, on the sidelines of Bahrain's celebration of Bahraini Women's Day, which falls on December 1 every year. This year’s celebration is held under the slogan "Women, Worthy Partner in Nation-Building."
His Excellency highlighted the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to integrate women's needs into national strategies. He emphasized that these efforts contribute to the consolidation of the progress of Bahraini women and enhance their role as essential partners in the comprehensive development process. He also praised the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, which has made Bahraini women a central pillar in supporting sustainable development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Al-Alawi further commended the tangible and significant contributions of Bahraini women in all fields, and their achievements at both local and international levels, proving their effective participation in the advancement and development of the Kingdom.
He also emphasized the Tender Board’s commitment to supporting the initiatives of the Supreme Council for Women by providing a work environment that enhances gender equality, enabling Bahraini women to assume leadership and decision-making positions. This reflects the Board's dedication to realizing the Kingdom's vision of advancing Bahraini women in various fields, contributing to institutional excellence and achieving sustainable development goals.
