The Bahrain Tender Board (BTB) has conducted a specialised workshop on tender evaluation procedures for members of the Customs Affairs’ tender evaluation committees, as part of a series of programmes designed to strengthen the technical and procedural readiness of government personnel.
His Excellency Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Bahrain Tender Board (BTB), said that the workshop forms part of the Board’s strategy to continuously upskill government staff and ensure the correct application of the law by equipping participants with the technical and procedural knowledge required to manage evaluation, negotiation and award processes in accordance with the principles of integrity and fairness.
HE Eng. Al Alawi added that the Board is committed to rolling out advanced training initiatives that expand the pool of certified evaluators, keep pace with international best practice and deepen collaboration with government bodies to embed transparency and competitiveness in public procurement.
