In an achievement reflecting its commitment to its institutional values, the Tender Board has obtained the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply (CIPS) procurement ethics accreditation in organizations for the fourth consecutive year, which affirms the Board's commitment to applying the highest standards of integrity and transparency in managing government procurement operations and enhancing its partners’ trust from acting entities, suppliers and contractors.
On this occasion, Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Tender Board, stressed that this international accreditation speaks to the Board’s continued commitment to the principles of governance and ethical practices in the field of procurement and sales, noting that the Board is keen to develop procurement and supply operations according to the best international standards to ensure the efficiency of government spending while achieve sustainability in supply chains.
Al Alawi added that the Board continues to invest in developing its human cadres through specialised programs and certificates, including the latest international methodologies and practices in procurement and supply, which enhances the efficiency of operations and contributes to improving the quality of government services provided to citizens and residents while supporting competitiveness in the local market.
