The Tender Board has been awarded the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Procurement Ethics accreditation for the fifth year in a row, following successful completion of professional examinations by several members. This accomplishment reflects the Board's dedication to applying the highest standards of integrity and transparency in government procurement processes and further underscores its role in promoting governance and establishing sound institutional practices, thereby building trust with government entities, suppliers, and contractors.

On this occasion, His Excellency Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Tender Board, stated that achieving the CIPS accreditation is a proud milestone that embodies the Board’s deep commitment to excellence, transparency, and sustainability in all procurement activities. It also highlights the vital role of qualified national personnel in enhancing the efficiency of government tendering and bidding procedures, safeguarding public funds, and ensuring the application of the best international practices in procurement and sales.

Al Alawi added that the Board continues to invest in developing its national workforce through specialised training programs and certifications that incorporate the latest global methodologies and standards. This raises the efficiency of procurement processes and improves the quality of government services, ensuring the efficient completion of government projects and services while sustaining supply chains in the local market.

Maintaining this accreditation for five consecutive years is a significant achievement that demonstrates the Board’s ongoing commitment to procurement ethics and excellence.
