The Equal Opportunities Committee of the Tender Board held its first periodic meeting for 2026, chaired by Eng. Reema Isa Al-Saffar, Director of Technical Evaluation. The meeting reviewed the Committee’s key achievements and results of the past year.
During the meeting, Al-Saffar affirmed the continued implementation of plans and initiatives to promote equal opportunities and support women's advancement in the workplace. She noted that the results achieved during the last year reflect the Board's commitment to implementing the best institutional practices that contribute to gender balance, in line with the national objectives of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting also discussed the timeline for implementing the Committee's operational plan for the current year, which aims to enhance support for employees across the Board's various departments and divisions, contributing to gender balance and reinforcing the principle of equal opportunities in the workplace.
