His Excellency Mr. Yaser bin Ebrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs and Chairman of Tender Board (BTB) underscore the significant role of the Board in ensuring transparency and protecting public funds by elevating the efficiency of government procurement and sales practices, in a way that contributes to supporting economic sustainability.

His Excellency's remarks came during a meeting with the Secretary General of Bahrain Tender Board and the Technical and Administrative staff members at the Board headquarters in the Arcapita building, Bahrain Bay. During the event, His Excellency was briefed on the progress of Tender Board’s operations, in addition to the procedures concerning opening bid envelopes for government tenders and auctions.

He was also informed on the tasks of the Tender Board's various departments as well as the most prominent projects and initiatives being carried out by Bahrain Tender Board. In this context, His Excellency praised the tireless efforts made by all employees of the General Secretariat in order to actualise the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister through the application of best international practices in order to safeguard public money.

Furthermore, His Excellency underlined the crucial role of the Board to achieve more success and achievements in the field of government procurement, which, on the other hand, will contribute to upgrading the government work and push it towards wider horizons of prosperity.

In the meantime, His Excellency highlighted the Board's exceptional regional and international standing, attributing it to the Board's unwavering dedication and hard work over the years. He emphasised that these efforts played a crucial role in maintaining its distinguished status and position.
