His Excellency Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Bahrain Tender Board, affirmed the board's ongoing efforts to improve the responsiveness and speed of request completion in order to provide excellent services to partners, including Purchase Authority, suppliers, and contractors.

 

He highlighted the board's dedicated endeavors to ensure the provision of services and the execution of government projects within the specified timeframe.

 

In this context, he noted that the index of responsiveness and request completion speed achieved a high success rate during the first nine months of the current year.

 

“Approximately 91.5% of the requests were responded to within 14 days or less from the date of receipt, surpassing the rates during the same period in 2022. This is despite the 29% increase in the number of requests received by the board, reflecting the board's commitment to effectively and promptly meet the needs of its partners,” he explained.

 

His Excellency further emphasized that the board continues to work on improving performance, enhancing operations, and refining procedures to achieve further advancements in response speed that meets the expectations of partners.

 

Moreover, H.E. highlighted that these efforts are vital to ensure successful project implementation and enhance confidence in the board's ability to meet future requirements and challenges in prompt basis.
