His Excellency Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Bahrain Tender Board (BTB), met with Eng. Abulrazzaq bin Sobhi Alaujan, CEO of the Saudi Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO).
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between BTB and EXPRO, focusing on exchanging expertise and improving joint coordination to achieve best practices in government tenders, project management, and spending efficiency.
Al Alawi emphasized the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting that these ties extend across various domains.
He affirmed that cooperation contributes to sustainable development and the realization of the common interests of the two kingdoms.
The Bahraini delegation showcased the Tender Board's experience in government procurement and tendering, highlighting key performance indicators used to measure progress. They were also briefed on Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to enhance expenditure efficiency within government entities and improve the effectiveness of procurement processes.
The discussion focused on ways to bolster cooperation between the Bahrain Tender Board and EXPRO, with the aim of exchanging expertise and elevating the level of joint coordination to reach best practices in government tenders, project management, spending efficiency, and reorienting financial impacts towards vital projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Al Alawi expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the Saudi side. He confirmed the Board’s commitment to continuing its fruitful cooperation with EXPRO, thereby realizing the aspirations of both brotherly nations and contributing to sustainable economic development.
