There are a total of 8 Vapor Recovery compressors units installed at new Tank Batteries 07 and 08 Each Tank Batteries has 2 separation trains, each train having 2 Sliding Rotary Vane compressors, driven by 11 KW electrical motors. The VRU compressors are critical equipment for tank batteries gas system. The compressors are compressing recovered gases from the separation process, from gas network and for collecting and recovering vapours from storage tanks. The 8 compressors are running continuously with no installed spare. If one compressor from one train fails, the other machine from the other train should take all load.
The requested spare parts, bearings, and head Orings are necessary to perform essential Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work for the compressors. The bearings are manufactured by FAG Germany and are special designed by compressor manufacturer ROFLO, to accommodate compressor design load and dimensions and cannot be found on local market.
