Prequalification for the supply of high voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), Mineral Insulated Copper (MICC) cables. Vendors will be evaluated based on submitted pre-qualification documents, and who ever satisfy the requirement shall be eligible to be added to Bapco Refining Approved Vendor list.
Vendors shall be able to offer all or partial of the requirements, based on their ability and capability, and provide all related documents including the information of original sources if they are not the originator.
The information regarding the electrical specifications are all embedded in the PQ documents. Other entity commercial and due diligence requirements are addressed and shall be provided for the company review.

,MANDATORY CRITERIA
EXPERIENCE
1-The Applicant must have a with minimum of Five (5) years experience in manufacturing of power, earthing, control and fiber optic cables for refineries, gas plant or petroleum product companies. Documentary evidence shall be submitted in the form of Commercial Registration certificate, Company profile, copies of Purchase orders/agreements or reference letter from clients issued for such work executed previously. The applicant shall provide company list where they supplied items listed in this document in GCC for Refinery/ Gas plant/ Petroleum plant.The Applicant shall submit documentary evidence to prove that they are regular manufacturer of each of the below commonly used power, earthing, control and fiber optic cables in Oil & Gas Industry. Documentary evidence can be any of Purchase order copies, Long Term Agreements, Audit reports etc.:
• LV and HV power cables from (24V up to 66KV)- (50Hz and 60Hz) 1, 3 and 4 cores. Suitable for submarines, classified areas and Non- classified area. Cable type (CU/XLPE/LS/SWA/PVC) and (CU/XLPE/SWA/PVC),.Can be used as direct buried, on cable trays, in underground conduit and , in underground duct.
• Cable Materials should be cupper.
• MICC cables.
• Fiber optic cables.
2-The applicant will be qualified for the kind of the valve where they have provided evidence for the supply with minimum of 2 purchase orders in the last 5 years to GCC for Refinery/ Gas plant/ Petroleum plant
FINANCIAL RECORDS
3-The Applicant must have a sound and secure financial track record based on the audited financial results for the last three (3) years. The Applicant shall submit last three (3) years’ audited financial statements. Refer to the financial soundness evaluation described below.
ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY
4-The Applicant must have a well-established Safety Policy, Safety Plan and must be accredited with valid certification e.g. OHSAS-18001, ISO-45001
or equivalent. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above HSE Policy and Procedures relevant to all areas of the Applicant’s operations.
Accreditation certificates from certifying bodies (DNV, ABS, Lloyds or equivalent) shall be available with applicant.
Applicant shall meet requirement as per applicable standards (ISO, API, ASME, NACE or equivalent) and same shall be submitted.
,QUALITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
5-The Applicant shall have material traceability, QA / QC Policy, storage, and shipping procedure in place. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above.
The Applicant must have a well-established Quality control system and must be accredited with valid certification e.g. ISO 9001 Certification or equivalent. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above
