On behalf of Bahrain International Circuit, University of Bahrain, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Center Authority and al Dana Amphitheatre the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs invites bidders to participate in "Request for Proposal for Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) a minimum capacity of 72 MWac grid-tied solar PV power plant on building rooftops, ground-mounted and as car park shades and EV charging stations at Bahrain International Circuit, University of Bahrain, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Center Authority and al Dana Amphitheatre for a 20-Year period Contract".

Bidder Company or Consortium requirement: i. Primary Bidder of an individual company or a consortium must be a local company (including GCC) and registered in Bahrain or GCC countries. ii. Individual company or one of the consortium members is engaged in the business of solar PV energy; and iii. In the case of consortium, the members may consist of International companies, provided that they are not the Primary Bidder.
Project Testimonial Requirements: Bidders must have successfully commissioned at least ten (10) grid-tied solar PV projects on a turnkey basis (out of which at least five (5) are Solar PV car park projects) in the last 3 Years (2019, 2020 & 2021) in any country globally (cumulative over all members in the case of a consortium)
Bidders must have successfully commissioned at least 40 MWac grid-tied solar PV projects on a turnkey basis in the last 3 Years (2019, 2020 & 2021) in any country globally (cumulative over all members in the case of a consortium)
