Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Repair and Painting of Bapco Fire Trucks & Emergency Response Vehicle & Equipment . The collection, service, overhaul, repair, testing, denting, painting and delivery of the Fire trucks & emergency response vehicle & Equipment owned by the Company, from and too the Refinery or Company operating areas.
2.1.1. The Contractor shall have minimum five years’ experience with knowledge and expertise in repairs and maintenance of a wide range of Automotive or Fire Trucks & equipment as listed in tender documents, refer to Appendix “K”.
Supporting documents such as previous Contracts or Purchase Orders shall be provided with the bid. (Providing only a List of P.O/PA would not be acceptable; copies must be provided with the bid).
2.1.2. The Contractors Prime business shall include repair of Fire Trucks or Heavy Automotive equipment as listed in tender documents, refer to Appendix “K”.
The bidder shall provide with their bid an appropriate organization chart for his contract and copy of the Commercial Registration.
2.1.3. The bidder shall have a suitably sized facility to accommodate two to three equipment at any one time as listed in tender documents. The facility must have suitable wash facilities and an enclosed area for the rebuilding of engines, transmissions and hydraulic components and a separate Denting and Painting facility and booth. The location of the facility must be reasonably accessible from the Bapco refinery, refer to Appendix “K”.
Supporting documents proving ownership/lease of the facility shall be provided with the bid.
2.1.4. The Contractor shall have fully trained Supervisors with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the required field with verifiable qualifications, refer to Appendix “K”.
Supporting documents (CV including copies of experience & qualifications certificates) be provided with the bid.
2.1.5. The Contractor shall have long term skilled workforce who are Qualified, knowledgeable, holding accreditation certificates or with min Three (3) years’ experience in Heavy Automotive e or Fire Trucks equipment in sufficient quantities to meet the Company requirements as listed below:
- Four (4) Auto Technicians.
- Two (2) Auto Electricians.
- Two (2) Denters.
- Two (2) Painter.
The crew shall be always available for Service, Maintenance and Breakdown Repair of Company equipment as stipulated in the Scope of Work. Refer to Appendix “K”.

2.1.6. The Contractor SHALL have a fully auditable and active Safety/Environment Policy in operation within their organization comprising the following aspects:
a. Contractor’s HSE Policy and Procedures relevant to onsite maintenance activities.
b. Safety statistics for the last Three (3) years, including full details of all restricted work or lost time accidents.
