Government Hospitals are inviting bids from medical gas manufacturers for a comprehensive set of services. This involves supplying and refilling medical gas cylinders for health facilities, delivering oxygen cylinders to patients at home, and providing liquid oxygen and nitrogen. The selected supplier will also handle testing, maintenance, and replacement of cylinders, offer on-site technical assistance, and collect empty cylinders for refilling.

Mandatory Criteria:
1 Contractor must install the following equipment within 12 working days from the date of awarding the contract on free on loan basis throughout the duration of the contract period include any emergency requirement to be catered within 48 hours for such requirement as per clause 1.4.1 and clause 1.4.2 of the scope of work.
3 Provide free on Loan following assets within the Government Hospitals allocated facilities within 12 working days from the date of awarding the contract as per clause 1.6 of the scope of work.
The supplier is required to offer free on-loan cylinders for various medical gases to Government Hospitals as needed. (in addition to the above should Government Hospitals need any emergency requirement of assets/the same should be provided within 48 hours from date of such requirement)
4 Supplier must provide the following equipment within 12 working days from the date of awarding the contract on free on loan basis throughout the duration of the contract period including regular maintenance, instruments calibration, shut down or break down (not limited to/but also include any emergency requirement to be catered within 48 hours for such requirement): Flask Liquid Nitrogen Containers.
The Supplier must supply liquid nitrogen in Flask containers as required by Government Hospitals, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to medical-grade quality and safety standards.
5 Bidders shall be specialized and have at least five (5) years of work experience, locally in carrying out SUPPLY OF MEDICAL GASES in the Kingdom of Bahrain) with proven track record.
6 Bidder shall have Bahrain-based plant/production facilities and infrastructure comprising but not limited to office buildings, open yard's - legitimate proof documentation to be submitted which would be confirmed by GH personnel visit to the relevant premises.
7 Bidder is required to submit a written confirmation stating that they have their transportation (Fleet of Vehicles), with trained manpower intended for use in this contract (24 hours around the clock).
8 Bidder is required to provide documentary evidence that he has maintained minimum stock of spares, and accessories related to above clauses no. 1, 2, 3, 4 & Gas Wall Mounted/Bed Head Units to be catered during any emergency within wards/in-patient rooms.
